We are told in scripture that God speaks to man in a dream, in a vision of the night.
성경에서 우리는 하나님께서 꿈속에서, 밤의 환상 속에서 사람에게 말씀하신다고 듣습니다.
I do not claim that every dream is a communication from God.
저는 모든 꿈이 하나님으로부터의 소통이라고 주장하지 않습니다.
Most dreams are the residue of the day, but now and then a dream comes which is a true revelation.
대부분의 꿈은 그날의 잔여물이지만, 때때로 참된 계시인 꿈이 옵니다.
A lady shared such a dream with me recently.
최근 한 여성이 그런 꿈을 저와 공유했습니다.
She said: “I found myself in a strange house, feeling very lonely.

Looking out of a window, I saw a man walking towards the house and I knew intuitively that he was my brother.

As he entered I said: ‘Brother, I have been so lonely.’

Embracing me, he replied: ‘I know, and I have come to take you home.’

“Then he led me out of the house, into a beautiful pastoral scene such as I have never seen on earth.

The colors were heavenly.

The green of the grass, the blue of the sky, the white of the sheep, all were intensified beyond description.

My brother led me to a lovely, sparkling stream of water where many men and women were gathered on its banks.

“In the center of the stream stood one I knew to be the Risen Christ.
“시냇물 중앙에는 제가 부활하신 그리스도라는 것을 아는 분이 서 계셨습니다.
Calling each one by name, they entered the stream and were baptised by him.
각자의 이름을 부르시자, 그들은 시냇물로 들어가 그분께 침례를 받았습니다.
Then he called my brother, who entered the stream.
그런 다음 그는 제 오빠를 불렀고, 오빠는 시냇물로 들어갔습니다.
As he came out of the water and stood on the bank, I saw a dove descend from out of the nowhere and alight upon his right shoulder.
그가 물에서 나와 둑에 섰을 때, 저는 어디선가 비둘기가 내려와 그의 오른쪽 어깨에 앉는 것을 보았습니다.
At that moment I knew my brother was the Christ.

Then he turned to me and said: ‘Now it is your turn.’

But I backed away, saying: ‘No.’

He did not try to persuade me, but smiled lovingly and said: ‘When you are ready I will be here.’

Then I awoke, with the strangest feeling of relief, knowing that my brother had played his part for me.”

This dream is a beautiful adumbration.
이 꿈은 아름다운 예시입니다.
It is not the fulfillment of the story of Jesus Christ in her, but a foreshadowing, a preview of that which is to come.
그것은 그녀 안의 예수 그리스도 이야기의 성취가 아니라, 다가올 그것의 예고, 미리 보기입니다.
In her dream she knew her brother was the Christ and he assured her that he would be there for her when she was ready.

This she will know when the time is fulfilled for her to play that part.

The brother in her dream is her savior, who is her own wonderful human imagination!

One day, when you are least expecting it, a drama will begin to unfold in you, and you will know that its origin is not within the realm of human breeding.

You will know that the child who is the sign of your birth from above was self-begotten, that you are its mother and its father.

When this event takes place in you, you will know that the story of Jesus Christ as told in scripture is your spiritual biography.

And, just as you do not question the origin of your thoughts, you will not question this birth.

No one knows the origin of thought.

Thoughts simply appear in consciousness.

So it will be with this birth.

That which is foretold in scripture will appear, and the circumstances surrounding your birth will be similar to those recorded there.

No two births are identical, for although the pattern is the same, its outpicturing differs in its detail.

In my own case the three witnesses were my two brothers and my nephew.

The child was found, and my older brother (who would not normally make such a statement) proclaimed me as the father.

My other brother questioned the statement, and my nephew simply described the babe.

Every detail as recorded was there.

And although there was no manger as such, there was an impression on the floor indicating the presence of a little child.

So I tell you: the drama of Jesus Christ is spiritual.

It does not take place on earth as secular history, but unfolds in the mind of the individual who fulfills God’s plan of redemption.

Everyone who has played his part and departed this world is still alive in his imaginal body, just as real as you are here.

They will continue to live in that world, experiencing the same joys and sorrows, the same struggles they knew here, until they are called.

When you are called, your imagination awakens and you are incorporated into the body of the Risen Lord.

Then you are sent back into this world of death as one who is awake, to play your part.

Having been incorporated into the body of God, you know that you are one with the Lord and have been sent to fulfill his purpose.

This lady’s dream clearly shows the baptism, which is the descent of the Holy Spirit upon her brother.

This is the fourth and final mighty act of God, and from then on everything is changed in that one’s life.
이것은 하나님의 네 번째이자 마지막 위대한 행위이며, 그때부터 그 사람의 삶의 모든 것이 바뀝니다.
Now, this vision doesn’t mean that everyone who departs this life becomes one with the body of Christ.

No. One can be a billionaire or a pauper and depart this world, not knowing what has happened.

They awaken in a world exactly like this to continue their journey, for man cannot die.

The rich man is still rich.
부자는 여전히 부자입니다.
The poor man is still poor, until he finds the cause of his poverty.

And what is that cause?

His imaginal activity!
그의 상상 활동입니다!
A man is what he imagines himself to be.

Now, it is possible for a rich man to be poor in spirit.
자, 부자가 영으로 가난할 수도 있습니다.
The poor man has no difficulty being poor in spirit, and it is the poor in spirit who enter the kingdom.
가난한 자는 영으로 가난한 데 어려움이 없으며, 왕국에 들어가는 것은 영으로 가난한 자들입니다.
The word “poor” does not mean a lack of money, but a lack of spiritual knowledge.

The man who is fabulously rich can be very poor in spirit, and because of his yearning, he will enter the kingdom of heaven before the one who believes he is all-wise.
엄청나게 부유한 남자는 영으로 매우 가난할 수 있으며, 그의 갈망 때문에 그는 자신이 모든 지혜를 가졌다고 믿는 자보다 먼저 하늘나라에 들어갈 것입니다.
Scripture tells us that Jesus Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

One who thinks he is wise in the eyes of the world will find it very difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven.
세상의 눈에 현명하다고 생각하는 자는 하늘나라에 들어가기가 매우 어려울 것입니다.
Yet one who knows he is a fool has no barrier, and will enter the kingdom of heaven as easily as a child passes through a door.
그러나 자신이 바보라는 것을 아는 자는 아무런 장벽도 없으며, 아이가 문을 통과하는 것처럼 쉽게 하늘나라에 들어갈 것입니다.
Tonight as I was driving here, my wife read a letter to me from a lady in San Francisco.
오늘 밤 여기에 운전해 오는 동안, 제 아내는 샌프란시스코에 있는 한 여성으로부터 온 편지를 제게 읽어주었습니다.
She has been listening to my tapes for a year and a half, and this is her letter:

“Last week I had a vision in which I was in a lovely green valley.

In the distance I saw a sparkling stream.

Knowing this was the water of life, I knew I was going to be baptised, and I ran towards it, arriving to see many people coming out of the stream and standing on the bank.

“I watched, as one by one they came out and joined others who had gone before them.

Then a man I knew to be my brother entered the stream, was baptised, and came out to stand on the bank.

As I looked at him, the most glorious dove I have ever seen alighted upon his right shoulder.

At that moment I knew this was Jesus Christ, my true brother.

Then he turned to me and said: ‘It is now your turn.’

Looking at him I knew his words were true.

I knew that I must give up everything in this world and trust implicitly this brother, this Christ, this Jesus of mine, my imagination.

But I said: ‘Not now,’ and awoke sobbing, yet feeling as though a heavy weight had been lifted from me.”

I have not yet met this lady, but her vision parallels that of the lady whose vision I shared earlier.

She knows that imagination is her brother, her savior who is the Risen Christ.

When you are willing to let go of everything you now believe in to the point of completely trusting your imagination, you will move into an entirely different world and know the truth of this statement: “I am in the Father and the Father is in me. I and my Father are one, and he who sees me, sees him who sent me.”

You are your own wonderful human imagination, who is God.

So when I use the word “Christ” I am not speaking of a little man, but the universally diffused individuality, the one who is God the Father.

The individual in whom the plan erupts fulfills scripture and is Jesus, the Lord.

The end of the journey is the birth of Christ, the power and the wisdom of God, the creative power that can rearrange the pattern of your mind and give you the object of your desire.
여정의 끝은 그리스도의 탄생, 하나님의 능력과 지혜, 여러분 마음의 패턴을 재배열하고 여러분에게 소망의 대상을 줄 수 있는 창조력입니다.
But the promise is more than that.
그러나 약속은 그 이상입니다.
It is the promise that you will one day know that you are God the Father!

You will beget from your own being David, the sum total of all humanity, who will symbolise the beauty of all of your experiences here.
여러분은 자신의 존재로부터 모든 인류의 총합인 다윗을 낳을 것이며, 그는 여기서의 여러분의 모든 경험의 아름다움을 상징할 것입니다.
Every character of scripture is a state of consciousness which you will encounter and outpicture in your journey.

Moses is not a man, but the eternal state man enters when he discovers God’s law, that “I AM” has sent him.
모세는 사람이 아니라, 사람이 하나님의 법칙, 즉 “나는 존재한다(I AM)”가 그를 보냈다는 것을 발견할 때 들어가는 영원한 상태입니다.
And because “I AM” has sent him, whatever he declares is so.

The word “Moses” means “to be born, to be drawn out.”

It is from that state that something is to be born.

What is to be born?

The state of Joshua (Jesus) who will lead the people into the promised land.

I tell you: Christ in you is your hope of glory.
제가 여러분에게 말합니다: 여러분 안의 그리스도는 여러분의 영광의 소망입니다.
He is not a little man who lived 2,000 years ago, but the power and wisdom of God, crucified on you in the beginning and will resurrect as you when his plan of salvation is fulfilled.
그는 2,000년 전에 살았던 작은 사람이 아니라, 하나님의 능력과 지혜이며, 처음에 여러분 위에 십자가에 못 박히셨고 그의 구원 계획이 성취될 때 여러분으로서 부활하실 것입니다.
When I use the term “Jesus Christ” I am referring to the saved man, the one in whom God’s plan is fulfilled.
제가 “예수 그리스도”라는 용어를 사용할 때, 저는 구원받은 사람, 하나님의 계획이 성취된 사람을 지칭합니다.
There is only one plan of salvation, and it fulfills itself in all.

This plan is recorded in scripture and told in the form of a story, from Adam to Jesus Christ.

This whole drama takes place in the mind of the individual.

You do not have to go into any church, or synagogue, or holy place.

Remain where you are, and the entire drama of scripture will unfold in you.

Then you will know its truth.

But until then, accept my testimony as it is the testimony of an eyewitness.

The Spirit came upon me.

The power of the Most High overshadowed me.

I bore that which was foretold in the scriptures.

Then he in whom I was contained revealed himself as myself, and all of the symbolism foretold concerning Jesus Christ has been fulfilled in me.

I am telling you what I know from experience.

Do not look for a little man to come out of the nowhere, for he is housed within you, as your own wonderful human imagination.

There is no other God.

Your awareness of being is God.

And someday you will know that your awareness is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of David.

This is the fulfillment of God’s plan.

His purpose, his plan was to give himself to you so completely that you are He.

There is no other way you could ever know that God is love.
하나님이 사랑이라는 것을 달리 알 수 있는 방법은 없습니다.
You could not be told it to the point of conviction.

Only by experience will you know the truth of my words.

I have experienced the entire drama of the Christian faith.

And it is beautiful beyond measure.

Now let us go into the silence.
